Special report earns Edward R. Murrow award for two

Palm Springs, Calif. – KESQ News Anchor Karen Devine and Assistant News Director Tim Kiley felt “honored” recently to win a regional Edward R. Murrow Award.  Their special two part series, “It Happens to Boys, Confessions of a Child Molester,” took first place in the Video News Series category.   The Radio Television Digital News Association honors outstanding  achievements in electronic journalism.  Edward R. Murrow’s pursuit of excellence in journalism embodies the spirit of the awards that carry his name.
