Account Executive, KUNA Telemundo & KUNA La Poderosa 96.7 FM
KUNA Telemundo Palm Springs and KUNA La Poderosa 96.7 FM in Palm Desert, CA is looking for an experienced Account Executive that will be responsible for growing revenue across all Hispanic properties related to the KUNA brand, along with our digital platform, www.kunamundo.com through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions to local clients and advertising agencies. The Account Executive will develop a solid understanding of our advertising products and have solid consultative selling skills to be able to best develop solutions to meet client needs and close deals. Revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction, and product implementation success are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve KUNA TV, FM and www.kunamundo.com local revenue target for assigned account list.
- Aggressively meet and develop strong business relationships with all local clients, media buyers, brand managers, and community organizations within the Coachella Valley area
- Prospect, qualify, present and close New Business Development
- Sell sports sponsorships, marketing opportunities, specials, packaging and multiplatform partnerships
- Identify and develop strategies for penetrating key accounts and prospects
- Manage the opportunity pipeline and revenue forecasting
- Participate in weekly pipeline, and proposal review meetings
- Identify, coordinate, and attend all appropriate local marketing and advertising association events
- Know our competition….not just television
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:
- 2 plus years in new business development, media sales, marketing and/or advertising
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
